Cabal Online – Episode 29 – Official Patch Notes

The Episode 29 is out now for Cabal TW, GSP and JP. Soon it will arrive other servers. Among those servers, only Cabal GSP provides the English translation for the patch notes. However, the quality of translation is pretty bad with inconsistency, spelling mistakes and even copy-and-paste mistakes. I decided to do a proper translation based on the original Cabal KR Patch notes, mixed with some information that Cabal GSP, TW and JP release in their patch notes. Buckle up, and let’s ride into the Episode 29~

  • New system “Heil’s Research Support”
    • Participation:
      • Requirements:
        • Account that has at least one character with Level 180+ which is registered as Guild Representative Character.
        • If there is a character fulfill the above condition, all characters in the same account can participate.
        • For example:
          • Your account has 4 characters:
            • Lv. 191 registered as representative for guild.
            • Lv. 40
            • Lv. 20
            • Lv. 2
            • => You can participate the Heil’s Research Support even from character Lv. 2.
    • Menu and UI:
      • Heil’s Research Support UI can be accessed via:
        • Shortcut: Shift + I
        • Cabal Menu > Quests & Achievements > Heil’s Research Support
      • Heil’s Research Support UI comes with 3 main areas:
        • Circuit Board
        • Material Register
        • Summary Information
  • Circuit Board:
    • Consists of 10 Circuits:
      • Circuit #1 – #9: Normal Circuits, by default, it will have Normal grade.
      • Circuit #10: Last Circuit, by default, it will have High grade.
    • Circuit has distinct colour, based on its grade.
      • Normal: Blue.
      • High: Green.
      • Highest: Red.
    • Memory Cube:
      • Will show the reward once you completed and got the reward for the circuit.
    • Circuit Level Up:
      • Normal Circuits have chance to turn into the High Circuit.
        • Apply for Circuits from #1 – #9.
        • Maximum 1 Normal Circuit can turn into the High Circuit.
      • High Circuit has chance to turn into the Highest Circuit.
        • Maximum 1 High Circuit can turn into the Highest Circuit.
  • Material Register
    • Consists of 10 slots with distinct type of materials.
    • Amount of item that you have and required to register is displayed at the item slot.
      • [1] in the screenshot below, you need 10 Astral Core (Archridium) for Slot #1, and you have 0 of that.
    • A button that allows you to register the material into the Research UI.
      • [3] in the screenshot below, you need 10 Force Core (Piece) for Slot #8, and you have 128 of Force Core (Piece). For this situation, the “Register” button is clickable the number “128” is showing in white colour.
      • [4] in the screenshot below, you need 1 Chaos Core for Slot #10, and you have 0 of Chaos Core. For this situation, the “Register” button is NOT clickable the number “0” is showing in red colour.
    • A button that allows you to reset the material for each slot.
      • Up to 5 times you can reset the material per slot per day.
        • [2] in the screenshot below is the “Reset” button, it is for each slot.
        • [2a] is the confirmation box for consuming the Force Gem x5 to reset the material. You can also see that you did 0/5 of reset for that slot.
        • [2b] is the same confirmation box, but when you have done 2/5 of the reset for that slot.
      • A random material from the pool list will be picked. The same material might be shown again after reset.
        • [2c] & [2d] to show that the Slot #10 can generate either Chaos Core or Divine Stone, once you reset, the same material can show up again.
    • By registering the material into the Heil’s Research Support UI, the gauge of the board will be filled.
      • Each material has its own value for filling the gauge.
      • By repeating registration of a slot, the required quantity for material will be increased.
      • Each time player performs the registration, this a certain chance for “BONUS” will happen.
        • BONUS rate can be x2, x3, x4 for all slots.
        • BONUS rate can be x2, x3, x4 and x5 for “Upgrade Core” slot (Slot #6).
      • Progress of the registration, number of registered items and the slots reset count are reset at 5:00AM daily.
  • Material List per Slot
  • Rewards:
    • By filling the gauge, the Memory Cubes will be given.
    • Depends on the Circuit grade, the Memory Cube has the same grade with:
      • Memory Cube (Normal)
      • Memory Cube (High)
      • Memory Cube (Highest)
    • Rewards will be automatically moved to the Event Inventory, in case of high-value item is gained, a Server Broadcast will be made.
    • Here is the list of available outputs from the Memory Cubes.
      • Depends on your publisher, the amount of Alz and Item Qty might be different.
  • Season:
    • A season is started with an empty Circuit Board; and it ends at the time you cleared all 10 Circuits and collected all Memory Cubes.
    • When a season is completed:
      • Number of “Decoded Circuit” will be increased by 1.
      • A new season will start.
      • Button to move back and forth between Circuit Boards is activated.
        • Can move back / forth with left / right buttons.
        • Can check backward up to 10 Circuit Boards.
  • Find Clues:
    • If you cleared at least 7 Circuit Boards (or Season) or higher, you will be qualified to be one of players who get Clue.
    • Clue will be distributed randomly to qualified players.
    • There are 3 types of Seasons with following sequence:
      • Heil’s Study: Research
      • Heil’s Study: Examine
      • Heil’s Study: Theory Set
    • Servers will randomly determine winners for Clue, according to the table below:
      • Order of determination will be from Low Value to High Value, from Lv. 5 > 4 > 3 > 2 >1.
      • If a player got selected in a level, that player will be excluded from next levels selection.
        • If you win the Clue Lv. 4, you will not be in the list for determining the Lv. 3, 2, 1.
  • New Material Items are added for the new collection
    • New material items are exclusively obtainable from the new Heil’s Research Support system.
  • Add 19 new Collections into Special collection list.
  • New DX2 dungeon is added: Terminus Machina
  • Add new Achievements & Titles for clearing the DX2: Terminus Machina.
  • Drop:
    • General Drop: Same as other DX2 dungeon.
    • Unique Drop:
      • Wind Crystal
      • Essence Rune (Ignore Resist Crit. DMG)
  • A new Essence Rune that be obtained from Legendary Box of the new DX2 dungeon Terminus Machina.
  • Required Level: 120
  • Stats & Requirements:
  • Level of Item Options are displayed for items with option range.
    • Target: Items that have random options granted at drop.
      • Applicable Items:
        • Lycanus’ Weapon
        • Dreiframe Armours
        • Prideus’ Bracelet
        • Siena’s Bracelet
        • Drosnin’s Earring
        • Orphidia’s Amulet
        • Chief Laxar’s Brooch
      • Method of display: Showing the “Min – Max” value for stats in tooltip.
    • Target: Effectors
      • Applicable Items: All Effectors.
      • Method of display:
        • Showing the Rank on the tooltip (separately for the normal option and special option).
        • Rank will be shown as Current Rank / Max Rank.
  • Add new “Select All” check box in the Personal Shop:
    • Allow to “Select All” or “Unselect All” using a single checkbox.
  • Add the “Agris’ Armour Box (DM)” into shop for NPC Agris – Port Lux.
  • Allow to use certain Option Scrolls for the Special Collection – Bike.
    • Newly allowed to register into the Collection > Special > Bike:
      • Bike Option Scroll (Ultimate) – Ignore Resist Crit. DMG
      • Bike Option Scroll (Ultimate) – Ignore Resist Skill Amp.
  • Change of Mission War stats for the Losing Nation
    • Increase defensive stats for Legacy Guardian, Sage’s Ensign, War Gate
      • Increase Stats:
        • HP
        • Defense
        • Resist Crit. DMG
        • Resist Skill Amp.
      • These stats are displayed in the Losing Nation buff Revenge’s Force as %.
      • Does NOT apply for Gold Coin Keepers in Memoria Chrysos
    • Change of offensive / defensive stats for players from Losing Nation
      • Add Stats:
        • Add Damage
      • Remove Stats:
        • Resist Crit. DMG
        • Resist Skill Amp.
  • Changes of Revenge’s Force buff for the Losing Nation
    • Add the information in the tooltip that the buff for both nations can be checked.
  • Change of calculating the Defensive Points on the Resurrection:
    • Defensive Point gained with reduced value.
    • The ratio of reducing is reduced over time up to 17 sec after the resurrection.
      • That means, at first on the resurrection, the Defensive Point you gain is extremely low.
      • And gradually during the next 17 sec, the ratio starts increasing.
    • If you perform the resurrection with Odd Circle or Force Gem, this will not be applied.
  • Item size are all changed to 1×1:
    • Unify all item size to 1×1 (refer to table below for some examples).
    • Target: Inventory, Warehouse, NPC Shop.
  • Remove the item rank display from Inventory / Equipment / Warehouse (that was showing as G1 ~ G14 earlier).
  • Expand the Inventory:
    • Total: 8 tabs
    • Each tab has 8×8 = 64 slots.
    • Change of accessibility constraints for the tabs (refer to the table below).
  • Change of Warehouse
    • Able to see Expanded Warehouse at once.
    • Change of accessibility constraints for the tabs (refer to the table below).
  • Changes related to General Game UI:
Personal Shop UI is the same, it was for the “Trade UI” @_@
  • Separation of Inventory & Equipment UI:
    • Equipment UI will not automatically show these situations:
      • Opening Warehouse.
      • Accessing Shop
      • Accessing Remote Shop.
      • Opening the Inventory.
    • Separation of Inventory / Equipment shortcut:
      • Press “I” will open the Inventory UI.
      • Press “Ctrl + I” will open the Equipment UI.
      • If both Inventory UI and Equipment UI are open, pressing “I” will close both.
  • Certain skills from Dark Mage will show the effect disregarding the option of “Hide Skill Effect” in Options.
  • Allow to merge certain items up to 999.
  • Changes related to the Mission Festival:
    • Increase required item count for certain item / mission.
    • Add new missions for using certain items.
  • Disable the auto sorting while performing the Merit Medal Evaluation / Report.
  • Remove Wind Crystal from NPC Chloe’s shop.
  • Fixed bug that caused client disconnection for different situations related with Merit Medal system.
  • Fixed the auto attack issue related with Dark Mage skills and Combo UI.
  • Fixed bug that character got blocked but the game doesn’t block the chat message.
  • Fixed bug that showing the item with character battle style rather than general information.
  • Fixed bug that Devil’s Token (High / Highest) could not be registered into the Collection.
  • Fixed bug that camera got frozen while viewing other character equipment.
  • Fixed bug that Account-Binding item could be looted with mouse (e.g. Fragment of Chaos, Fragment of Divine).
  • Fixed bug that Dark Mage could not get the achievement “Understanding Battle Mode 3”.
  • Fixed bug that games doesn’t show the “%” at the Mirage Island (Awakened) title for Resist Crit. DMG.
  • Fixed bug that causes client disconnection while sorting the inventory in certain situation.
  • Fixed bug that item got disabled if player holds the items and performs the item sorting.
  • Fixed bug that Equipment UI is showing when clicking on Cabal Menu > Inventory.
  • Fixed bug that displays the abnormal pet option while moving the mouse over the pet.
  • Fixed bug the Collection UI tabs that shows abnormally.
  • Fixed bug that the SIG Metal Coat for FA / FB / FG of Female character is displaying abnormally in inventory.
  • Fixed the bug related with showing the Combo output in certain situations.
  • Fixed bugs related to Dark Mage while using certain skills cause abnormal situations and error.

It would be awesone if they released a n update which unlocked a Awekeningversion of lower level skills that would bring them to transcendent level, increasing damage, amp, AoE, discance, buff, dbuff, who knows what more. There’s some potential skills that I like, being for the Area of Effect, effect, mobility, or which ever, but I can’t use because it became just worse than any transcedent. This would bring a lot of potential customizable skill build.

  3. I checked that the test server has dungeon collections I and Dungeon II but I didn’t find the new dungeon collection here, because I remember that the existing one became Dungeon II and the New one became Dungeon I. sorry my english is bad. Hugs from Brazil
