Slot Option

Slot Option in Cabal:
- An item could have from 0 to 2 slots.
- Additional 1 slot can be granted by using Slot Extender.
- Granting slot option can be done using Force Core, Option Scroll and Alz.
- Depends on items, different grade of Force Core / Slot Extender / Option Scroll are required.
  - E.g. SIG-Metal items need “High” grade, Archridium items need “Highest”…
Other Remarks:
- Costume items (before Episode 36) and later got converted into Crest items (after Episode 36), those also share the same concept of Slot / Option Scroll
- However Crests do not use normal Slot Extender; instead, there is Crest Slot Extender available at NPC Chloe, different type of Crest requires different Crest Slot Extender

- Option Scroll:
  - Different types of option scrolls are available for corresponding items, like Armor, Weapon, Bike, Crest (Crest of Life, Crest of Sky, Crest of Earth).
  - Two main types:
    - Specific Option Scroll:
      - To grant a specific option into the item
      - E.g. Option Scroll – Armor (Attack)
    - Random Option Scroll:
      - To grant a random option from the random pool into the item
      - E.g. Option Scroll – Armor (Random)
- Option Scroll Protector:
  - Because Option Granting process can be failed, and the Option Scroll will be consumed regardless of the progress result.
  - If player has the Option Scroll Protector matched with current option scroll type, on failure, the scroll won’t be consumed.
- Item Option Remover:
  - Used for removing ALL available options in slot of the items.
- Crest Slot Converter:
  - Crest of Life Slot Converter: Attempt to add a slot for a Crest of Life, success rate 80%.
  - Crest of Sky Slot Converter: Attempt to add a slot for a Crest of Sky, success rate 80%.
  - Crest of Earth Slot Converter: Attempt to add a slot for a Crest of Earth, success rate 80%.
- Crest Safety Kit:
  - Crest of Life Safety Kit: Create a Crest of Life Capsule that stores current slot option of the Crest of Life, available to reapply again.
  - Crest of Sky Safety Kit: Create a Crest of Sky Capsule that stores current slot option of the Crest of Sky, available to reapply again.
  - Crest of Earth Safety Kit: Create a Crest of Earth Capsule that stores current slot option of the Crest of Earth, available to reapply again.

Each item above has different grades, depends on item grade the Force Core / Option Scroll (and any related items) will be required:

Granting Option can be done at Core Alchemist NPCs at towns in Nevareth.
To perform Granting Option, we need:
- An item with at least 01 empty slot.
- Option Scroll based on the item type and item grade.
- Force Core based on the item grade.
- Alz.

  - Fixed Option Scroll: Based on the item type, specific type of Option Scroll can be registered as Fixed Option Scroll.
  - Random Option Scroll: At anytime, a Random Option Scroll can be registered.

- [4] Force Core according to item grade, minimum you need to register 1 Force Core, but can be increased up to 10 Force Core:
  - For Armor / Weapon: Each Force Core increase 5% of the Success Rate.
  - For Bike: Each Force Core increases 2.5% of the Success Rate.
  - For Crest: Each Force Core increases 2.5% of the Success Rate.
- [5] Granting option also costs Alz, and the Success Rate is not 100% all the time, depends on the current item condition, Success Rate varies.

Slot Expansion:
- To increase the number of slot different items could be used depends on target item type.
- Depends on target item type, by extending the slot, Option Slot value could be increased.

For both Armor / Weapon and Bike, we can use “Option Scroll – Random” in order to get a random stats from the stats pool. However, the way of using the Option Scroll – Random is not just simple like that. Available scenarios are below:
