Divine Upgrade

Divine Upgrade was introduced for quite a long time back in Episode 18 – Force Gunner. Divine Upgrade is applicable only for items with High grade or higher (Osmium or higher) and item must be at least with Normal Upgrade +15. Divine Upgrade is separated based on item grade and item type, for example Divine Upgrade for One-handed Weapon with Highest Grade.

  • Requirement:
    • Item with grade High (Osmium or higher).
    • Item must be at least with Normal Upgrade +15.
  • Upgrade process:
    • Divine Upgrade can be done via Upgrade UI.
    • For doing the Divine Upgrade from +0 to +1:
      • Using Divine Converter with the matching type of the item.
      • Using Divine Seal Stone with a sealed Divine Upgrade matching with the item.
    • For doing the Divine Upgrade from +1 and higher:
      • Using Divine Stone to upgrade via the Upgrade UI.
  • Upgrade materials are:
    • Divine Converter: Available at NPC Deighton in Bloody Ice
      • Armor.
      • Weapon.
      • Bike.
    • Divine Stone or Divine Stone Set: Available to request via NPC Chloe in Port Lux.
      • Material “Divine Stone Fragment” can be obtained from the Dungeon Defense: Glacies Inferna.
    • Enchant Safeguard (Divine): Available to request via NPC Chloe in Port Lux.
  • Converting an item from +0 to +1 using the Divine Converter is always success.
  • Upgrading an item from +1 to higher using the Divine Stone has different outputs, it depends on the Divine Upgrade grade, but not the item type (e.g. Suit / Orb / Greatsword…) or item grade (e.g. High / Highest / Ultimate). Amount of Divine Stone required for One-handed Weapon, Armor and Bike are the same and available in the table, for the Two-handed Weapon, required amount of Divine Stone per upgrade is double of the amount in the table.
  • Upgrade Outcomes:
    • Success: The Divine Upgrade grade increased by 1.
    • Failure:
      • From +1 to +5, by upgrading the Divine Upgrade might be reset. If the upgrade is failed, the Divine Upgrade will be reset and you need to convert item again using Divine Converter.
      • From +6 onwards, the Divine Upgrade will not be reset, but if the upgrade is failed, different outcomes might happen (+0, -1, -2 or -3).
  • By using Enchant Safeguard (Divine) from +6 onwards (to upgrade to +7), if the upgrade is failed, there will be no penalty that lead to removal of Divine Upgrade.
    • Remember that, for Divine Upgrade, there is a chance the Failure is happened, but there is no change to the Divine Upgrade grade. For that case, Enchant Safeguard (Divine) will not be consumed. Refer to the table above for the case of +0 in Failure.
    • For other cases of failure with -1, -2 and -3, specific amount of Enchant Safeguard (Divine) will be consumed.
  • Divine Upgrade Stats are based on the combination of:
    • Item Type: One-handed Weapon / Two-handed Weapon / Suit / Gloves / Boots / Helm / Bike.
    • Item Grade: High / Highest / Ultimate.
    • Divine Level: 1 – 15.
  • Stats of One-handed Weapon:
  • Stats of Two-handed Weapon:
  • Stats of Suit:
  • Stats of Gloves:
  • Stats of Boots:
  • Stats of Helm:
  • Stats of Bike:
  • Divine Upgrade stays on the item, if the item is trade-able, you can move the item as usual. If you want to move the Divine Upgrade from one item to another item, you need to use the “Divine Seal Stone”.
  • Divine Seal Stone has two states:
    • Empty:
      • By using the empty Divine Seal Stone on an item with Divine Upgrade, the Divine Upgrade will be moved to the Divine Seal Stone. And the Divine Seal Stone state will be changed to sealed.
      • After sealed, the Divine Seal Stone can be traded freely.
      • You cannot use the empty Divine Seal Stone on an item without Divine Upgrade.
      • Normally the Divine Seal Stone is available from cash shop.
    • Sealed:
      • By using the sealed Divine Seal Stone on an item without the Divine Upgrade, the Divine Upgrade will be transferred from the Divine Seal Stone to the item.
      • To apply a sealed Divine Seal Stone, the target item type and grade must be matched.
      • You cannot use the sealed Divine Seal Stone on an item with Divine Upgrade.
      • The sealed Divine Seal Stone can be:
        • Output of using an empty Divine Seal Stone that purchase-able from cash shop.
        • Rewards from events.
  • Example #1 of using Divine Seal Stone:
    • Step 1: Seal the Divine Upgrade +13 from Master’s Palladium Gauntlets (WA) +17.
    • Step 2: Obtain the Divine Seal Stone: Highest Gloves (13/15):
      • Divine Level: 13
      • Item Type: Gloves
      • Item Grade: Highest
    • Step 3: Apply the seal stone on Craftsman’s Archridium Hands (WI) +19 which doesn’t have Divine Upgrade on it.
    • Step 4: Obtain the Craftsman’s Archridium Hands (WI) +19 with Divine Upgrade +13.
    • Summary: In this example, the Divine Upgrade +13 has been moved between different items, those are sharing:
      • Item Type: Gloves (WA Gauntlets and WI Hands).
      • Item Grade: Highest (Palladium and Archridium).

      • Item Grade: Highest
    • Step 3: Apply the seal stone on Craftsman’s Archridium Boots (FA) +20 which doesn’t have Divine Upgrade on it.
    • Summary: In this example, the Divine Upgrade +13 could not be moved from between different items because:
      • Item Type are different: Gloves (WA Gauntlets) and Boots (FA Boots).

      • Item Grade are different: Highest (Palladium) and Ultimate (Demonite).
