Cabal Online – Episode 36 – Jun 30th 2023 Patch Notes

It’s too hot to handle, it’s right here now 42*C 🥵🥵🥵, and I’m feeling like I’m getting melted… 🧊🧊🧊But that heat won’t stop me from working on the Summer 2023 patch notes – the very first patch notes for Episode 36 – of Cabal! The patch comes with lots of stuff, from Quality of Life improvement ⤴️, new dungeon 🦟🐍, new items and even a BIG change for costume system 🥻👗🦋. Let me be your tour guide in this exploration~

1. Change that some items can be stack up to 999:

• Target Items:
  • Core Enhancer
  • Core Superior
  • Merit Medal Evaluation Order
  • Merit Medal Evaluation Cancel Order

2. Change to mail sending:

• Allow mail to be sent even if title and / or content are blank, as long as Alz and / or Item are attached.

3. Disable PK in starting town of PK-able channels:

• Target maps: Bloody Ice, Green Despair, Desert Scream

4. Change of ESTGames Logo

#ESTGames has changed their official logo to match with #ESTSoft. Accordingly all of sub-sites were changed with the new logo of ESTGames (including #CabalOnline, #CabalMobile and #Cabal2). 1. New Dungeon: “Purifier in the Woods”

2. Illusion Castle: Radiant Hall – renewal

• Remove unnecessary quests & paths.
• Remove quest objects which are hard to interact with.
• Improve the dungeon progress.

3. Increase drop rate of “Orphidia’s Amulet” from Hazardous Valley (Awakening)

1. Allow extraction of Orphidia’s Amulet: 100% to get Orphidia’s Soul

2. New Unique Accessories:

• Requirement: Level 190+ / Honour 13+
• New Amulets:
  • Gaia Force Amulet:
    • 4 grades: Low / Med / High / Highest
    • Tradable
    • Stats:
      • Basic stats: Fixed, depends on grade of Amulet
      • Slot: Random up to 01 slot
      • Epic: Random, based on grade of Amulet, always with 3 epic options.
  • Terra Force Amulet
    • 1 grade
    • Account-binding
    • Stats:
      • Basic stats: Fixed
      • Slot: Random up to 01 slot
      • Epic: Random, always with 3 epic options.

• Obtain:
  • By using: Sealed Gaia Force Amulet, one Gaia Force Amulet will be generated with:
    • Random grade: Low / Medium / High / Highest
    • Slot: 0 – 1
    • Epic: 3 random epic options, based on the grade
  • By using: Sealed Terra Force Amulet, one Terra Force Amulet will be generated with:
    • Slot: 0 – 1
    • Epic: 3 random epic options.
• New Request Recipes at NPC Chloe:
  • Serum of the Earth:
    • Property: Tradable
    • Drop from:
      • Boss: Omerai – the Ancient One
      • Dungeon: Purifier in the Woods
  • Gaia’s Mercy:
    • Property: Tradable
    • Obtain: Extracting new amulets

• Allow Extraction of new Amulets:

• Chaos Upgrade can be applied on the new amulet, as well as sealing / applying seal of Chaos Upgrade.

3. New Essence Rune: HP III

• Requirement: Level 120+
• Obtain: Legendary Box: Purifier in the Woods

4. New Costume Set: Siamese Dress

1. Change of Costume System

• New Costume UI
• New Item Type “Crest” to store the stats of Costumes
• Remove “Costume” tab in Equipment UI
• Costume & Crest can be found in the new Costume UI
• All of equipped costumes before the update will be removed and send to character via in-game mail.
• Change of “Costume Registration”
• Equivalent Crest can be equipped only if there is at least one equivalent type of costume is registered.
• All costumes can be previewed and purchased in the Costume UI.
• Can view the character in different angles with rotation in the Costume UI.

  • [2] Costume Registration button, click on this to register old Costumes into the New Costume System.
  • [3] List of costumes based on current filter.

  • [5] Different preview poses:
    • Default: Best for viewing: Head / Clothes / Weapon Costumes
    • Force Wing: Best for viewing: Force Wing
    • Vehicle: Best for viewing: Vehicle, cannot view Weapon Costumes
  • [6] Button to confirm the apply of new costumes
  • [7]
    • On the left, we have 5 buttons for 5 different costume sets, each set can include:
      • Clothes
      • Head
      • Primary Weapon
      • Secondary Weapon
      • Force Wing
      • Vehicle
    • On the right, we have 6 slots for each type of costume above
  • [8] Slots for equipping Crest items
  • [9] Preview area, according to selected costume in [7] and pose in [5]

2. Can save costumes as “Set”, up to 05 sets can be saved.

3. New “Crest” item type:

• Feature: To replace the ability of costume stats, including epic and slot.

• [1] Crest can be purchased from NPC Yerte – Core Alchemist in Port Lux for 1,000,000 Alz each.
• [2] All activities which were available on “Costumes” to get slots / epic can be done the Crest accordingly.
• Types:
  • Crest of Life: Replacement of Cloth Costume to keep the stats (epic / slot)
  • Crest of Earth: Replacement of Vehicle Costume to keep the stats (epic / slot)
  • Crest of Sky: Replacement of Force Wing Costume to keep the stats (epic / slot)
• Properties:
  • Account-Binding
  • Cannot be extracted
  • Protectable
• Granting Options for Slot / Epic: Same like doing with the costume before.
• Rename of related items:

4. Costume Registration:

• When using a costume, the used costume will be registered in the Costume UI.
• An amount “mileage” will be accredited if the costume is duplicated at the time of registration.
  • Mileage can be used to purchase costume related items.
• When a costume with slots / epics is used, a Crest of the equivalent type will be generated into the inventory.
• UI Description:
  • [1] Allow to register old Costumes into the new Costume system.
  • [2] Costumes which are duplicated will generate “Mileage”, a special currency for Costume System.
  • [3] [4] By registering an old costume with Slots and Epics into the new Costume System a Crest will be generated with the equivalent stats (Slots and Epics).
  • [5] Mileage can be used to purchase costumes.
