Hot 🔥 The very first patch notes for Episode 38 is here with bunches of new cool stuff like, are you ready to dive in?! Buckle up and let me be your tour guide 🧭 In the mean time, I’m still working on this patch notes 📖 to add screenshots 📸 and so on, so expect to get some revisions 🔍!

1. Merging of Easy / Normal / Hard difficulty for DX Dungeons:

  • Concept: Merging the Easy / Normal / Hard for 5 types of DX Dungeons:
    • Catacombs Frost (Easy / Normal / Hard) -> Catacombs Frost
    • Lava Hellfire (Easy / Normal / Hard) -> Lava Hellfire
    • Panic Cave (Easy / Normal / Hard) -> Panic Cave
    • Steamer Crazy (Easy / Normal / Hard) -> Steamer Crazy
    • Hazardous Valley (Easy / Normal / Hard) -> Hazardous Valley
  • General Information of DX Dungeons changed after merged:
  • Changes of Achievements:
    • Existing achievements for Easy and Normal difficulty are moved to “Memoirs” category.
    • Achievement for “Hard” will be changed into the universal achievement for the merged DX Dungeon, the run counts from Easy and Normal will be merged into the new achievement.
    • Details of Achievements:
  • Changes of Minesta Training Book
    • Changes of criteria for related Minesta Training Book
      • Target: Capsule 13 ~ 27
      • Changes:
        • Old: Defeat “X” in DX Dungeon (Difficuty)
        • New: Defeat “X” in DX Dungeon
      • Example: Minesta Training Book Chapter 13:
        • Old: Defeat Nualle in Panic Cave (Easy)
        • New: Defeat Nualle in Panic Cave
    • Changes of Achievements related to Minesta Training Book of DX Dungeons
  • Change of Collections related to Minesta Training Book of DX Dungeons

2. Changes related to request of Force Essence

  • Changes of Required Amity for Force Essence x1 recipes
  • Changes of Acquired Amity for all Force Essence recipes

3. Changes of Quest:

  • Overview: Significantly increase of EXP / Skill EXP / Honor from Scenario Quests / General Quests
  • Scenario Quests:
    • Significantly Increase the EXP reward.
    • Significantly Increase the Skill EXP reward:
      • By completing all Scenario Quests up to Level 100, player can get Skill Rank Transcender.
    • Significantly Increase the Honor reward:
      • By completing all Scenario Quests up to Level 200, player can get Honor Grade 20.
    • Reduced some conditions for quests (refer to the table below).
    • Removal of Alz rewards from Quest (additional quests for providing Alz will be added later).
  • General Quests:
    • Increase EXP reward.
    • Removed some quests
    • Removal of Alz rewards from Quest (additional quests for providing Alz will be added later).
  • Change of Daily Quests from NPC Henkoff (refer to the table below).
  • Mercenary Quests:
    • Change the type from Scenario to General
    • Change the quest condition (refer to the table below).

4. Better view for Required Stats for leveling up the Battle Style Level

  • Required Stats for leveling up the Battle Style Level is now calculated based on the total stats (which could be obtained from various sources beside the original character stats, such as Pet, Honor Medal, Title…)
  • For example:
    • Old:
      • Character requires 50 INT to perform Battle Style Level Up, character INT stats was 30 (+40).
      • Player must increase another 20 points into INT to make it 50 (+40) in order to perform Battle Style Level Up.
    • New:
      • Character requires 50 INT to perform Battle Style Level Up, character INT stats was 30 (+40).
      • Player can even reduce the INT down to 10 (+40) because in overall, it’s already 50 INT in total.

5. Simplify the Weapon / Armor stats requirement and Character rebalance:

  • Simplify the Weapon / Armor stats requirement:
    • Match the same required stats for wearing different parts of the set of the same grade.
    • Match the same required stats for different types of weapon, for example:
      • Greatsword vs. Daikatana
      • Blade vs. Katana
      • Orb vs. Crystal
  • Adjust character stats from Battle Style Level Up:
    • Stats are mentioned in the table below, and stats are based on Battle Style Lv. 21
  • Adjust the factor for gaining the Attack / Magic Attack from basic stats for non-force classes:
  • Adjust the stats of Skill Transcendence for class Mastery skill for all classes:
    • Stats are based on Overlord Level 100.
  • Focus Skill stats revise for WA / WI:

1. Expansion of Merit Mastery – Diamond Insignia:

  • New grade of Merit Mastery, higher than Platinum Insignia.
  • When the Merit Mastery – Platinum Insignia is max, player can rank up to Merit Mastery – Diamond Insignia.
    • Upgrade Cost: Merit Exchange Ticket x 100 + WEXP 30,000
  • Merit Mastery UI (for Diamond Insignia):
    • [1] Tabs for Gold / Platinum / Diamond Insignia
    • [2]
      • Current Merit Score / Next Milestone to get Merit Point rewards
      • Available Merit Points
      • Amount of Merit Point to obtain when reached target Merit Score
    • [3] Mastery Memorize (similar to the Mastery Memorize of Merit Mastery – Platinum Insignia)
      • Allow by default 03 different setups
      • Able to extend using Cash Item 02 times, total max 05 different setups
    • [4] List of Main Categories and Sub Categories
      • To select a Main Category, click on the name
      • To select a Sub Category, click on the “+” icon next to Main Category to unfold the list of its Sub Categories, click on the Sub Category name to see the list of Merit Slots
    • [5] Current progress of unlocking slots (if any)
    • [6] List of available slots of current selected Category
    • [7] Special Mastery (only applicable for Main Category)
    • [8] Summary of Stats
      • Offensive (War Only | Expanded)

  • Merit Mastery – Diamond Insignia:
    • Diamond Insignia Merit Score & Merit Point:
      • Maximum Merit Score: 800,568
      • Maximum Merit Point: 2,260
    • Diamond Insignia Mastery Category:
      • 04 Main Categories
      • 03 Sub Categories for each Main Category
        • For each main category, only one sub category be able to select.
        • Once a sub category is selected, other sub categories cannot be selected.
  • Ability for each Category / Sub Category:

  • Opening Slots of the Merit Mastery – Diamond Insignia:
    • Concept of opening slot is similar to Merit Mastery – Platinum Insignia.
    • The more slots were opened the more Material Items will be consumed and the longer the opening duration will be.
    • [1] List of required time and material are displayed.
    • [2] Progress of opening slot will be shown in Merit Mastery UI
    • [3] Click on clock button in progress area to see the Speed Up UI
    • [4] Click on any available type of Time Reducer (Diamond Insignia) for detailed UI
  • Timer Reducer (Diamond Insignia):
    • A new type of Time Reducer is added exclusively for Diamond Insignia.
    • Can be used for speeding up the opening progress for slots of Diamond Insignia.
    • Cannot be used for speeding up the opening progress for slots of Platinum Insignia.
    • Old Time Reducer (Platinum Insignia) cannot be used for speeding up the opening progress for slots of Diamond Insignia.
    • In test server, Time Reducer (Diamond Insignia) can be purchased from NPC Yul, the way for obtaining Time Reducer (Diamond Insignia) will be revealed later.
  • Special Mastery:
    • Special Mastery will be obtained once the slot for Special Mastery is unlocked and learned.
    • A special “Diamond Insignia Special Mastery” UI is available for accessing in the Merit Mastery UI under the Diamond Insignia tab.
    • Cost of granting Special Mastery: Merit Exchange Ticket x3 + WEXP 1,500
    • By performing the granting of Special Mastery option:
      • 03 random options will be granted based on the available options of the Main Category.
      • Passive EXP will be granted based on the option.
      • Passive EXP helps to level up the Diamond Insignia Passive which provide additional stats for character.
  • Special Mastery UI:
    • [1] Current Special Mastery slots
      • Options: We have 03 options here
      • Grades (max is up to #5)
    • [2] Re-grant the Special Mastery options:
      • Current amount of available Merit Medal / Required
      • Current amount of WEXP / Required
      • Button to re-grant, by clicking, all 03 options will be randomly re-granted
    • [3] Each time of granting the options, a certain amount of Passive EXP will be accumulated.
      • Current Level of Diamond Insignia Passive
      • Current progress of Passive EXP / Required
    • [4] List of available Levels of Diamond Insignia Passive
      • Achieved stats will be highlighted
  • Special Mastery lists based on Main Categories:
  • Diamond Insignia Passive:
    • By granting the options for Special Mastery of Diamond Insignia, Passive EXP will be accumulatively stored.
    • Even if the Special Mastery is changed, the gained Passive EXP won’t be decreased.
    • By growing the Passive EXP, player can obtain the Diamond Insignia Passive Level.
  • Reset of Diamond Insignia:
    • Able to reset the stats at the Main Category.
    • Once reset at the Main Category, the Sub Category will also be reset.
    • Fee (will be changed later):
      • Force Gem x110 per Category
      • Force Gem x400 for all Categories
  • Able to save current Point Distributions in Mastery Memorize.
    • [1] By default you have 03 setups. Able to extend up to 02 times using Cash Item, to get total maximum 05 setups.
    • [2] Click on button in #1 to show this screen, here you can click the setup to drop in your quick slot.

2. Some improvements for Merit Mastery UI:

  • Add the background texture for Merit Mastery Icon.
  • When opening a slot of Platinum / Diamond Insignia, a small timer icon will be displayed.
  • Allow to level up maximum as possible for a slot.

3. New item “Elixir of Platinum Insignia” is added

4. New system “Newbie Support” is added.

  • A system for supporting players under level 200 obtain useful rewards.
  • If player is under level 200, a special icon will appear on the screen, click on it to access the “Newbie Support” UI.
  • Mechanism: Allow player to be rewarded based on their progress:
    • Level: Reward obtained by leveling up, up to Level 200.
    • Skill Rank: Reward obtained by leveling up Skill Rank, up to Transcender.
    • Honor: Reward obtained by leveling up Honor Grade, up to Grade 20.
  • Rewards are under review and subjected to change.
  • Once the character reaches Level 200, a timer will appeared:
    • Timer will be for 07 days.
    • If player do not obtain items from the “Newbie Support” UI, after the timer expires, reward could not be obtained.

4. Dungeon Entry Warp Function:

  • When player right clicks on the Dungeon Entry item, there will be a feature for warping directly to the Dungeon Entrance.

5. New Achievement Category “Memoir”

  • For storing the achievements which could not be obtained anymore.

6. Honor Grade Expansion:

  • Max Honor Grade is increased from 20 to 30.
  • Allow to earn Honor when reporting evaluated Merit Exchange Ticket to War Officer.
