Episode 45 – Sinis & Dexa can be considered as the biggest update for the PvP related content with the 180-degree changes for Mission War system. Take a look at the summary of contents as below:

  • ⚔️ Mission War Renewal
  • 🔰 New Upgrade: Transcendence Engraving
  • ⬆️ Item Stats Rebalancing
  • 🔮 Force Refinery
  • 🧩 Monolith Enigma Expansion
  • 🔢 Combat Power Display
  • 🎉 Guild Mission Festival
  • 💖 Other Changes and Fixes

1. Faction changes

  • Mission War teams have been changed from the traditional nation-based system to a random team system.
    • Previous: Capella vs. Procyon
    • New: Sinis vs. Dexa
  • The Nation Reward previously granted to the winning nation after the Sunday 22:00 Mission War has been replaced with a Winning Team Benefit.
  • Rewards are granted to every character on the winning team.
  • The effect lasts for 72 hours. Winning another Mission War refreshes the duration back to 72 hours.
  • The benefit applies to all characters on the account.
  • The Capella and Procyon Merit Officers have been removed from the Mission War Lobby.

2. Mission War Entry System Revamp

  • The entry system has been completely redesigned. Instead of joining by selecting a Mission War channel, players must now register in advance to participate.
    • Registration opens through the Mission War notification displayed before the battle begins.
    • When registration closes, only registered players are allowed to enter.
    • If registrations exceed the player limit, participants are selected based on their Battle Power ranking.
    • Players on standby may enter if a higher-ranked applicant cancels before registration closes.
  • Mission War Registration Notifications
    • A dedicated Mission War button will appear when registration begins, similar to the PvP Battle notification.
    • The existing notification remains in the lower-right corner of the screen, but the nation icon has been replaced with a trophy icon.
    • Clicking either the button or notification opens the Mission War Registration window.
  • Participation Restrictions
    • Only one character per account may participate in each Mission War.
    • Only characters that possess the required participation fee may register for Mission War.
      • If the registration is cancelled before it closes, the participation fee will be refunded.
    • Once the registration period has ended, participation can no longer be cancelled.
    • After entering the Mission War Lobby:
      • Channel switching is disabled.
      • You cannot play another character on the same account.
      • If another character on the account logs in, it will be forced directly into the Mission War Lobby or Battlefield instead of the Channel Selection screen.
    • Characters that did not register before the battle begins cannot join an ongoing Mission War.
    • Equipment Lock
      • From the moment you register until the Mission War ends, the following systems cannot be changed:
      • Integrated Presets, Equipment, Emblems, Honor Medals, Transcender Mastery, Anima Mastery, Stellar Link, Stellar Force, Monolith Enigma, and Force Wing Training.
  • Combat Power Tiers
    • All participants in each Mission War are divided into five Combat Power Tiers, with approximately 20% of players assigned to each tier based on their Combat Power.
    • Only Tier 1 players are eligible to become the Bringer or Guardian.

3. Bringer & Guardian Selection Changes

  • Bringer and Guardians are now selected exclusively from Tier 1 Combat Power players.
  • Only characters that participated in at least 12 Mission Wars during the previous week are eligible.
  • Selection Rules
    • Bringer: The character with the highest Combat Power in the team.
    • Guardian: For each Battle Style, the character with the highest Combat Power, excluding the selected Leader.
  • Consecutive Selection Prevention
    • Characters selected as a Bringer or Guardian will not be eligible for the same role in the following Mission War.
    • Exception: If a team has only one Tier 1 character, that player may be selected consecutively.

    • Blue Warp Gate
      • Available only to players in Battle Power Tiers 4–5.
      • Provides one-way travel from the Main Base to the Lower Sanctuary.

    • Adjusted the Attack Rate, Accuracy, Hit Rate, and Attack values of the Force Towers and Sage’s Ensign.

3. Lower Sanctuary

  • The previous click-to-capture mechanic has been replaced with an area-based combat capture system.
  • Temple of Refinement Changes
    • The Temple of Refinement is now treated as a normal monster, making it easier to destroy.
    • Destroying the Temple removes all Lower Sanctuary Guardians and stops them from respawning.
    • Rewards
      • Each team receives up to 1,200 Weapon Refinement Gauge, distributed according to each player’s damage contribution.
      • All members of the team receive a Temple Crystal Box.

4. Central Sanctuary

  • The previous click-to-capture mechanic has been replaced with an area-based combat capture system.
  • Observer Capture System
    • Standing near the Observer now gradually fills the Central Sanctuary Capture Gauge.
    • The capture area extends slightly beyond the visible circular marker.
    • A “++” indicator is displayed while capturing.
    • While capturing, the following are awarded every 5 seconds:
      • Team Score: 4 points per second
      • Personal Score: 4 points per second
      • Central Sanctuary Gauge: 0.3% per second
  • Observer’s Trace Monsters
    • Five monsters spawn in each area.
    • Defeating them grants:
      • Team Score: 1
      • Personal Score: 10
  • Capture Completion
    • When the Central Sanctuary Capture Gauge reaches 100%:
      • The Observer’s Proxy is summoned.
      • All Observer’s Trace monsters disappear.
      • The Central Sanctuary Gauge resets to 0%.
      • After the Observer’s Proxy is defeated or the time limit expires, the sanctuary becomes capturable again.
    • Observer’s Proxy Debuff
      • Its special attacks at 66% and 33% HP now apply DEF -3,000.
    • Rewards
      • Players who meet the minimum score requirement receive personal rewards even if the boss is not defeated.
      • If the Observer’s Proxy is defeated, every member of the team receives one additional personal reward.
      • The reward remains the existing Observer’s Reward.

5. Temple Guardian Changes

  • Guardians now use normal spawning instead of spawning based on the opposing team.
  • All special attacks have been removed, while HP has been increased.
  • They can respawn up to 2 times whenever the Temple of Refinement is destroyed.
  • Respawn interval: 20 seconds.
  • Defeating a Guardian grants 20 Weapon Refinement Gauge.
  • The Guardian’s model size has been reduced.

6. Weapon Refinement Buff Revamp

  • Buff effects are now unlocked based on the Lower Sanctuary Gauge (Score).
  • The Weapon Refinement Gauge can be earned by destroying the Temple of Refinement or defeating Lower Sanctuary Guardians.
  • The Weapon Refinement Gauge no longer decreases by 5 points per second and is no longer reset at the 5, 10, and 15-minute marks.

7. Awakening Altar

  • If your team’s Main Base is destroyed, an Awakening Altar will appear at the center of the Central Sanctuary.
  • Only members of the affected team can attack and destroy the Awakening Altar.
  • Destroying the altar grants 2,500 Team Score and applies a powerful team-wide buff.
  • When the Awakening Altar appears after your Main Base is destroyed, players receive an additional movement speed buff upon respawning.
    • Movement Speed +450 for 10 seconds, allowing players to return to the Awakening Altar more quickly.
    • This buff is only granted when reviving via the Main Base Force Tower.
    • Players revived on the spot using a Force Gem or Odd Circle will not receive this buff.

8. Respawn Protection Improvements

  • Previous:
    • After reviving, the Protect status lasted for 7 seconds, but score gains were reduced during that period.
  • Updated:
    • Protect now remains active indefinitely until the player attacks an enemy.
    • Using any offensive action immediately removes the Protect status.
    • While Protect is active, players cannot earn Defense Score.
    • Since Protect is removed upon attacking, the previous score penalty no longer applies afterward.
    • Leaving the Main Base through a Warp Gate will automatically remove the Protect status.

  • If the selection window is closed or the game is exited before making a choice, the item will display an Engraving Selection message and visual effect until the player chooses an option.
