The wait is almost over! The major summer update brings the biggest Mission War overhaul in years, introducing a completely new matchmaking system, revamped battle mechanics, improved rewards, and a fresh battlefield experience. Here’s everything you need to know so you’re ready to jump straight into battle.
Please remember that, this post is not a Patch Notes, but rather a short summary for the changes of the Mission War in Episode 45.

- Mission Wars now use a Random Team Matchmaking system.
- Bringer and Guardian roles are now selected automatically based on PvP Combat Power.
- Bringer titles and leader shout functions are removed outside Mission War.
- The final selected Bringer / Guardian will receive a special reward.
- Sunday National War has been removed.
- Winning any Mission War now grants the former National War victory benefits.
- Ingens Prolilium has been completely redesigned.
- Tierra Gloriosa and Memoria Chrysos retain their existing battle rules, with only the entry system changing.
- The previous WAR Status webpage will be discontinued.

Mission Wars will no longer separate players by Capella and Procyon. Instead, participants are automatically assigned to one of two temporary factions:
- Sinis
- Dexa
Teams are balanced using each character’s PvP Combat Power, creating more competitive and evenly matched battles.
Outside Mission War, nothing changes. Nations, chat, fields, and dungeons continue to use the existing Capella and Procyon system.

The traditional method of entering through dedicated Mission War channels has been removed. Players now register through the new Mission War Entry UI.
Mission War Flow
- Mission War notification appears.
- Open the Entry UI.
- Register for participation.
- Random teams are assigned.
- Enter the Mission War Lobby.
- Form parties and prepare.
- Enter the battlefield.
- Begin the battle.
Mission War channels have also been removed.

The new interface includes:
- Battlefield selection (Tierra Gloriosa, Memoria Chrysos or Ingens Prolilium)
- Available Mission War channels by level
- Mission War guide information
- Time-limited equipment preview
- Direct Inventory access
- Countdown until registration closes
- Remaining registration time
- Assigned faction after matchmaking
- Total participants
- PvP Combat Power ranking
- Estimated combat grade
- Participation status
- Entry registration button

Important: Equipment changes become locked immediately after registration. Make sure your gear is final before joining, or cancel your application, change equipment, and register again.

Mission War entry fees are now charged when registering, instead of when entering the battlefield.
- Registration is not possible without the required fee.
- Cancelling registration automatically refunds the fee.
- If the client closes before entry, the fee is also refunded.

Only one character per account may participate in each Mission War. After registering:
- You cannot enter using another character.
- You cannot access normal channels until the Mission War ends.

Once registration is complete, all systems that affect Combat Power become locked until the Mission War finishes.
Locked Systems
- Equipment
- Integrated Presets
- Emblems
- Medal of Honor
- Transcendence Mastery
- Anima Mastery
- Stella Link
- Stella Force
- Monolith Enigma
- Force Wing Training
Combat Power Grades
Participants are divided into Grades 1 to 5 according to their PvP Combat Power. Only Ingens Prolilium applies grade-based participation restrictions. Other Mission Wars simply display your grade without changing gameplay.

Mission Wars have been streamlined for faster action.
- Lobby preparation phase
- 20-minute battlefield duration
Once teams are assigned, participation cannot be cancelled. Players who did not register before matchmaking cannot join after the battle begins.

The previous Bringer and Guardian election system has been removed. Selections are now automatic.
Bringer
The highest Combat Power player from each faction becomes the Bringer.
Guardian
For each battle style, the highest Combat Power player (excluding the Bringer) becomes that faction’s Guardian.
Selection Rules
Players selected as Bringer or Guardian are excluded from the first selection in the next round.
If only one Grade 1 player exists within a faction, the same player may be selected again.
Bringer titles and leader shout functions are no longer available in normal channels.

The old National War reward system has been retired. Instead, every Mission War victory now grants winner benefits.
Rewards
- Applied to the entire account
- Duration: 72 hours
- Every additional victory refreshes the timer back to 72 hours
As with normal Mission War rewards, you must still be present on the battlefield when the battle ends to receive the benefits. Sunday National War (aka Flag War) has therefore been removed.

The Ingens Prolilium battlefield receives the largest redesign in this update.
New Warp Gate System
A new warp gate now connects the Main Base and Central Sanctuary. Movement depends on Combat Power Grade.
- Grades 1–3
- Main Base ↔ Central Sanctuary
- Grades 4–5
- Main Base → Lower Sanctuary
- Cannot return directly from Lower Sanctuary to Main Base
Grades 4–5
Attack Towers
Attack Towers remain active even after the Main Base is destroyed.
Central Sanctuary Changes
Capturing the Central Sanctuary now only requires standing inside the capture area.
If your Main Base is destroyed, an Altar of Awakening appears within the Central Sanctuary, giving the losing faction an opportunity to recover.
Destroying the Altar grants:
- Battle Points
- Powerful PvP buffs
- Powerful PvE buffs
The Lower Sanctuary system has also been adjusted to improve battle flow.

Kill rewards remain unchanged. Additional improvements include:
- Players who achieve the minimum score receive personal rewards even if the Watcher’s Agent is not defeated.
- Defeating the Watcher’s Agent grants bonus rewards to the entire faction.
- Destroying the Temple of Refining now rewards every member of the faction.

This update fundamentally reshapes how Mission Wars work, delivering fairer matchmaking, faster battles, more strategic objectives, and improved rewards. Whether you’re a veteran warrior or returning to the battlefield, the new Mission War system offers a more balanced and engaging PvP experience than ever before. The full patch notes of Episode 45 will be posted later today will fully describe all changes related to Mission War system.
