We are currently in the process of preparing for our new portal and a new account system, and as part of this we require you to take the following two minor steps:
- Verify your email
- Change your web and game account passwords
This is because your email is going to have a much more prominent role on our site, and you will absolutely need a real, verified email to be able access all your account information.
During the brief downtime today, 24.07.2012, we have taken the fairly big step of changing ALL game account passwords to something random. You will not be able to log into the game unless you go complete the following quick and painless process.
Everyone starts by logging into the website. This is simple, your website username and passwords – nothing else.
My Account is new – I registered in 2012!
New accounts (those registered in 2012, so all non-English service accounts and many English service accounts) only need to first update their website password. You will see a link with ‘I lost my password’. Simply click on this, and follow the link that will be emailed to you.
I have an older account, registered in 2011 or earlier!
Older accounts (registered in 2011 and earlier) must first confirm that their email address is a valid one. After logging in to the website for the first time you will have to enter the email address used on your account. If the email address you enter matches the one we have linked to your account you will receive an email with a link that will allow you to reset your web account password. Doing this will also automatically set your email as ‘verified’.
What about my game account password?
Simple. Just log in to the website, and click on the ‘Reset’ link for your game account password. You now simply have to enter the new password you want (note that is has to be a new password, not your old one!) to use to log into the game with, and you’re done!
It really is that simple! As an added bonus, and to smooth over any inconvenience caused by this each account that goes through the verification process will receive a FREE Blessing Bead Plus (3-Day duration, Account-binding).
While the process has been designed to be as smooth and easy as possible problems can of course occur. If at any point you have any issues during this process please contact our Account Supportdepartment immediately. We have multiple staff members dedicated to this section over the next days, to make sure everyone gets back into the game as fast as possible.
Help! I forgot my email! (or my email doesn’t work any more)
- Go to http://support.cabalonline.com
- Create a ticket in Account Support, with the subject “Email change Request”
- Supply the following information in your email>
- Your Game ID
- Your Full Name and Surname
- Your Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy)
- Website Security Question and Answer
- New email you wish to use
